TROY -- a movie must to be seen

Troy, the movie released in 2004 casted by Brad Pitt is an excellent movie which tells about the war between the kingdom of sparta and troy. Brad Pitt acting in the movie is really superb. The language used can be understood by all of us. I have seen this movie a few times in the hostel (twice with G.Prabhu in the midnight around 2.00 PM). I happened to see it again today. Its simply superb. Don't miss the movie.
Brad Pitt acting as Achiles, got all the stuff right in the movie. The first fight is superb. (Brad Pitt fights with a very huge man to decide the fate of the battle and what happens .... the rest is secret. Do watch the movie to know the fate?) . Kudos to the director and producer of the film.
Sainik School Amaravathinagar

One of the good public schools i have ever seen. I am happy that i did my schooling from 6th to 12th there. Thanks to the man whose who were responsible for making me join there. School days are the most unforgettable ones. We learn everything there (to suceed in all walks of life).
It was 7 years hostel life which meant a lot to me. Kudos to my school.
Had God created Human beings without stomach?
If God has created all of us without stomach, it would be really nice that all the ill feelings, jealousy, lust would have never been there in the world. No famine, anything of that sort.
Will people then work? It is a big question. Then, people must be working for other comforts. World would be less competitive, no hunger for success.
My college life
I did my under graduation in Bsc Computer Technology in CIT Coimbatore. It was interesting that i could not forget my wonderful days at the college.
On March 2, 2003 at the world cup in South Africa, India bet Pakistan chasing a very good total of 270 odd runs. Thanks to wonderful performance from the little master sachin who made an attacking 98 (i wonder where are those days sachin had and why he is missing now) and Yuvraj and Dravid who made half centuries.(Maintaining the record that pakistan have never won a match against India in world cup). That was a great day.
March 3rd 2003, it is a very special day in my life as i wrote the entrance exam for MCA in PSG Technology. Three years before that, me and my uncle were trying to get a seat there for me, but could not get it. It was a great moment to go back sometime after, where you aspire to be in? I got thru the entrance exam and had my interview in end of march. Finally the results were announced, I made it. It was one of the greatest moments of my life for many many reasons. Thanks to K.M.Aravinth, Pradeep, Palaniappan, Umapathi and many others who help me to clear the interview process.(I met them for the first time and they helped me out and they are my seniors in the college where i am going to do MCA).
Around the end of July 2003, I joined the college. From there on, it was an wonderful experience and learned many things in my life. My batch was a real mixture, many from Kerala,Andhra,Bihar,Delhi and more importantly all were genius looking forward to invent things and lot more. We made several things to happen. The best things were winning more than 10 overall competitions, more important the win in NIT thirchy was memorable. Various colleges including IIT Roorkee, HCU, have come for the event. We won in almost all the events.
I was one among the five who represented my college. It was not five from my college, it was the whole class, because the whole class was involved(about 15 of us were in NIT) (TeamWork matters).
Finally in the last year of our college, everyone was placed in good companies.(including Google,Yahoo,HP,.......................)
Kudos to the PSG college of Technology.(The day is not far away that it will be the best institute in INDIA). Thanks to all my professors, friends and more important the GOD who made me have a wonderful three years.
The company that inspired most.............
Google, the company just seven and half years old has already made waves with its wide range of products including the Google Search Engine, gmail, Google Maps, Adsense .......... the list continues. It is working on the latest technologies and its unbelivable. For instance, using AJAX, the web applications developed by Google is superb. The latest one, Google Talk is amazing.
I would like to work in Google in the near future and i will try my best to get there. I missed my first oppurtunity when Google visited my campus. I was one among the four who got selected for the interview. But I could not finally make it. One of my classmates Mukesh made it. Kudos to this man who made the department, our batch,PSG Tech proud.
Looking forward to work with him(Will this happen?). Hope this desire becomes true one day and the day is not far away.
My First Experience in IT industry

When I am writing this blog, I am exactly 4 months old in the hands of IT industry. As part of my post-graduation programme, I am doing 6 month internship programme in INTEL, Bangalore. INTEL, as the name value suggests, i was really happy that i got selected for my internship programme in INTEL(It was one of the happiest days of my life in college, I cannot forget that day. It was a great news at about 2 '0' clock that 7 of my classmates got selected. It was a double delight for one of my classmate Kiran Thomas as she got job offer from ANZ).
When i arrived in INTEL,Bangalore on November 21, 2005, i was delighted because of many reasons... infrastructure was excellent(the best one i have seen so far) and lot more. Four months have gone. It made to think how my experience was and how is it different from the academic institution.
The people that i worked with was really great and one thing it disappointed me was they didnot understand me much (probably due to thier busy schedule) and they treated me like a employee. They had experience of 15 years in IT industry and worked in various high end solutions.(may be they don't want to teach this little guy).
The moment i tell some one, that i am in INTEL for the internship, what an MCA graduate is doing in a chip manufacturing company?. Initially, I thought why they have this silly question? but it matters. I am involved in module which consists of the automation of manufacturing process and deriving certain results from it. You have to be a person who matters most to the company. But mine is a back ground process which is not so critical. Transformation from academic institutions to IT industry is not easier. You have to be innovative, always think of interesting and best options, and more important dedication and good attitude.
Overall it was nice experience and i am looking forward to work in TCS ( INDIAn based company which does most of the operations in INDIA, it makes me feel patriotic to work for an indian company). Current Innovatives or trends in the IT industry is AJAX(Google uses AJAX and python scripts for most of its web based development projects), SOA, SAP, BizTalk(Business Integration server). I learning a bit about this during my leisure time. I am searching for time so that i spend a little more time on this.
Looking forward for my career in TCS. One thing that comes to mind, when TCS is said, the
on-site oppurtunities are great and you get in a quick time.
Is God is Partial???.....
I sometimes think whether the god's love to the people is same for all. When we are born, we are the same. But after that we are classified based on religion, region, caste, mother tongue, poor or rich,..... the list never ends. Why does god have made these classifications?. It is to be thought or to be explored "God created man or man created god(in the name of religion)".I recently saw a movie named 'Dishoom" in tamil, in which a person named Farooq who is almost one and half feet acted, and says a dialogue 'God also does some mistakes, that is why i was born like this'. This made me to think a bit.I certainly know that i cannot have answer for the question. Your thoughts on it..........
My First outing in INTEL
Team outings are special ones. we have lot of fun and lot of moments to cherish.
The first outing in INTEL, we went to Bannerghatta National Park, Bangalore.
It was full one day outing and it was a special day because i came to know each one in the TMG Group. We also went for one and half hour jungle safari..
A moment to remember.
First Photo... Really memorable
This is the first photo of our MCA Batch , we took for LOGIN 2003. Nice one.
I got it from sathya's blog. Thanks man.
Now its almost the end of the course.Everyone is placed in good companies.
Let us bring laurels to the college and the department which made us to this position. All the best for your careers.
How to choose a IT company?
I got little confusion about how to choose companies for getting placed or grooming your IT career, whether to choose service-oriented or product-based companies. Everyone has their own ideas. But whatever the company may be, enjoy your work. Some of my juniors in the college, who are waiting for all the big brands of companies within few months, ask the same question. What can i say?.......... Choose the company which chooses (selects) you.
Autograph - The movie I have seen and enjoyed the most
Autograph, directed and acted by Cheran, has set lot of standards in terms of all the aspects the movie should have.I watched it twice in the theatre and more than 10 times in the CD. Cheran mixed the combination of humanly feeling in right proportion. The result was handful of NATIONAL AWARDS and other prestigious awards. His latest film Thavamai Thavamirithu adds another feather to his hat. I have seen it once in the CD. I could not watch the movie in the theatre. He is not hero of the movie rather his story is the hero of the movie.I am looking forward for his next movie 'POKISAM' directed and acted by himself.
If you have not watched the above 2 movies, please do watch it.His other movies include Porkaalam, Bharathi Kannamma, Paandavar Bhoomi.
